A family shoot with young children does not have to be stressful. The best photos arise when everyone feels at ease, and that works if you follow the children's pace. That is why we do not work by the clock.
Choose the right moment
- Plan after the nap and after a feed or lunch. Read the best time for a photoshoot.
- Avoid a day with many other appointments. Calm gives better photos.
- Weekends and holidays fill up quickly. Plan in time for the date you want.
Clothing that works together
- Choose two or three colours that go together, such as cream, beige and a soft colour. Do not all wear exactly the same.
- Avoid big prints and bright logos. Plain fabrics and subtle textures look best.
- Make sure children wear clothing in which they can move well.
You will find more examples in what to wear for a photoshoot. After you book you receive clothing advice from us.

How to get children on board
- Tell them beforehand in plain words what will happen: we are going to play and take photos.
- Do not promise a reward for sitting still. Let them just be themselves, we take the best photos while they play.
- Bring a favourite cuddly toy, which helps if a child needs time to get used to things.
- Let us know if a child is shy. We take the time to get acquainted calmly.
