What is a New Life shoot?
A New Life shoot is all about your baby as they are right now. We do not place your baby in a complicated pose, but follow their pace and capture the small moments: a sleeping face, tiny hands and the arms of mum and dad. All details are on the New Life shoot.
What is the difference with a classic newborn shoot?
- Poses: in a classic newborn shoot a baby is often placed in a special position. Not with us; we choose simplicity.
- Atmosphere: calm, warm and at your baby's pace.
- Family: dad and mum are welcome in the photos, and brothers or sisters can join too.
- Time: feeding, changing and a nap get all the room they need; we take the time your baby needs.
When is the best time to come?
Do you want to capture your baby as a real newborn? Then it is nice to come in the first weeks, preferably within the first month. But many parents choose to come later, and that is perfectly fine too. The best moment is the moment you are ready yourselves.
Booking with your due date
Nobody knows exactly when a baby will arrive. That is why you give us your due date when you request, so that we can already take you into account. As soon as your baby is here, you send us a message, for example via WhatsApp, and we schedule the shoot for good.
How to prepare
- Bring a feed, nappies and spare clothes.
- Choose calm, comfortable clothing for yourself and your partner; see what to wear to a photoshoot.
- Do not plan a busy day around it. Calm matters most for you and your baby.
Price and booking
The New Life shoot can take place in the studio (€250) or at your home on location (€350). See all prices and request your date via the request form. With a deposit your date is secured, and you receive personal clothing advice.
