These are averages from experience and not a limit: we do not work by the clock and we are only done when we are sure we have enough great photos.
Average duration per shoot
- Cake smash Bronze: usually about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Cake smash Silver: usually between 45 and 60 minutes.
- Cake smash Gold: usually between 60 and 75 minutes.
- Pregnancy shoot, family shoot and kids shoot: usually about 60 minutes.

Why we do not watch the clock
With us a shoot does not end because time is up. Every child is different: one is happy straight away, another needs a little more time and attention to get used to it. We give that time. We only stop when we feel there are enough great photos, and that is the only moment that counts.
Why does one shoot take longer than another?
- The child: shy, tired or very busy. All fine, we go along with the pace.
- A feed, a nap or a nappy change in between.
- Your package: with Gold, for example, family photos and a bath session are added.
- Changing clothes, for example with clothes from our free client closet.
Tips for a relaxed shoot
- Plan your shoot after a nap and a feed.
- Do not plan a tight appointment after the shoot, so you are not in a hurry either.
- Bring spare clothes, and a cuddly toy or snack for the little ones.
Good to know: if the shoot takes longer than the average, that is no problem. A calm shoot gives the best photos.
