A theme does not have to be complicated. It mostly helps to decide which colours the cake, the backdrop and the clothing get. That way the whole series of photos looks calm and coherent.
How to choose a colour theme
- Pastel: soft pink, blue, green or yellow shades. Soft and timeless, for boys and girls.
- Neutral: cream, beige, white and gold. Calm and elegant, suits almost any living room.
- A bright colour with white: for example red, yellow or orange for a cheerful, playful feel.
- A favourite colour or a theme of the birthday, such as an animal, a season or a favourite character.
Matching cake, clothing and backdrop
Let the cake stand out and keep the clothing calm. A plain outfit in a colour that returns in the theme works best. You can borrow clothing for free from our client closet for boys and girls aged 1, or you bring your own outfit. That way we choose together what looks best. Also read what to wear.
